Week 33 BIG NEWS!

                                                           MAY 16, 2011 !!!

We learned some BIG news yesterday that I am still in the process of absorbing!  Our little peanut is going to be here sooner than we thought!  Our scheduled C-section is set for Monday May, 16th!   WHOA that is 2 1/2 weeks away!!!!   I am 33 1/2 weeks today and we will be welcoming him at week 36, 4 weeks earlier than expected!  Dr. Wingo made this decision due to the placenta previa and feels that it is not safe to push the pregnancy further than 36 weeks.  The main concern is still bleeding up until the delivery and during, he does not want me to go into labor on my own due to these risks. We were assured that a neonatal team will be present for baby's delivery and they will be prepared to deal with any complications I may have.  I am so nervous and excited, the delivery sounds very scary due to the previa but we have to trust that the team of doctors are prepared and ready to get us through safely! Lots of prayers and TRUST IN GOD!

Since I blogged last Wade & I took our "babymoon" and had a wonderful time in Florida!  It was great to relax and connect just the two!  I will always remember this vacation and am SO happy we were able to make it happen!  Great memories of us daydreaming about what our life will be like with baby boy!  We will defiantly be going back to Rosemary Beach, it was gorgeous!

Another fun event to share was my baby shower on April 16th!  I can't thank Erin and Miranda enough for the coordination, effort and thought put into this special day!  We had mom, Melinda, Brooke & Michelle fly in from Texas which made it extra special.  I couldn't believe the outpouring of love for this little baby who is not even here yet :)   We received so many heartfelt gifts and necessities to get the nursery all ready!
I had SO MUCH FUN!

We have so many last minute things to tie up before our boy enters our life!  I can't help thinking over and over that these are the last days, times, events before our life is never, ever the same again!
Thank you GOD for our blessings!

Be on the look out for blogs to come and pictures of the baby once he is here!
